Warhorse Studios has confirmed a cyberattack that led to unauthorised access to company systems and data. The studio is best known for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. GamesIndustry.biz reported the statement on 27 October 2026.
In the statement, Warhorse said it is working with cybersecurity experts to secure its systems, investigate the incident and assess its full impact. The studio said it is not conducting interviews or providing additional comments while the investigation continues. It said it will share further information when it becomes available.
CEO Martin Frývaldský called it a serious incident for the studio and everyone affected. He said Warhorse is dedicating the resources needed to address the situation and will communicate more as soon as it responsibly can.
The report places the incident alongside other recent breaches in games. Last week, Capcom experienced a data breach affecting more than 11.7 million online accounts, and the publisher confirmed that customer information was accessed by an unauthorised third party. Earlier this year, Rockstar was affected by a data breach tied to a third party, involving what it described as a limited amount of non-material information. The report also recalls Rockstar's September 2022 leak, when 90 in-development GTA 6 video clips were released.
