Rockstar Games has added 39 new screenshots of Grand Theft Auto 6 to the Launch Gallery on its website. The images show Vice City and its nightlife, the natural landscapes of Leonida, detailed character models, and portraits of the protagonists Lucia and Jason, according to 80 Level.
80 Level also lists details about the game's world. It features more than 170 animal species, including flamingos, pelicans, alligators and monkeys, along with a dynamic weather system that runs from clear skies to heavy storms. Rockstar made about 600,000 animations for Leonida's residents and built varied behavior patterns for them. The NPCs are reportedly smarter than in earlier games, which allegedly contributed to the game's delays.
GTA 6 is set to release on Thursday, November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Standard Edition is priced at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99. The PC version reportedly follows in Q1 2027.
The launch is also spilling into marketing outside games. 80 Level mentions a GTA-branded Miami Heat arena, in-universe beers at bars and a Vice City blimp. Citing IGN, it says "A Night in Vice City" is next on November 18, with a special game between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.
On the release calendar, 80 Level says many studios postponed their releases because of the November GTA 6 launch. Shrek 2 Remastered kept its November 10 date. Its trailer draws on the GTA 6 preview videos and recreates the series' grid-based design.
