IO Interactive's HITMAN World of Assassination has a new Elusive Target called The Host. It is available from October 29 through November 25, 2026. Players who own the game can access it, and it is also offered through the game's Free Demo.
The target is Finn Colton, also known as FinnVictus, played by Jacksepticeye, whose real name is Seán McLoughlin. Colton is a wealthy content creator and former children's TV star who runs a constantly livestreamed compound in Hawke's Bay. Agent 47 enters as "thought leader" Tobias Rieper, supposedly to appear on the Finn and Friends podcast, and has to avoid remote-controlled cameras covering nearly the whole property.
In an interview with 80 Level, Senior Game Designer Eskil Møhl and Senior Level Designer Martin Skov Ansdal said the role grew out of a small cameo McLoughlin did in 007 First Light. The team did not portray his own upbeat persona. Colton is written as a satirical mix of the worst parts of content creator culture. Møhl said McLoughlin is playing Finn, not himself.
Ansdal described the level design as a mirror of the target's public and private personas. The mission centers on a single house. Upstairs is the high-energy creator's space, and downstairs holds what Colton has hidden away. The player descends while being filmed by his tripod cameras, and the tone darkens as the mission goes on.
Both designers also covered how they approach Elusive Targets in general. Ansdal said each mission is built like an iceberg, with an intuitive route on top that works even for players who haven't finished the tutorial, and more complex layers underneath. Because Elusive Targets are now offered as Special assignments, players can replay them later and explore those layers. Møhl said scripted moments and the game's systemic play are meant to balance each other when a plan goes sideways.
