NVIDIA is expanding DLSS 5 support beyond NBA 2K27 this month, according to 80 Level. Hogwarts Legacy gets it on November 5, War Thunder in mid-November and Where Winds Meet on November 23.

In Hogwarts Legacy, the feature is called DLSS 3D-Guided Neural Rendering. NVIDIA says it targets lighting and material quality, with model controls meant to lift environments while preserving character identity. NVIDIA says this addition means the game now supports its full suite of DLSS technologies.

NVIDIA recommends pairing it with DLSS Super Resolution (set under Upscale Type), DLSS Multi Frame Generation (under Frame Generation) and NVIDIA Reflex (under Low Latency Mode). If you also use the game's ray-traced effects, it recommends DLSS Ray Reconstruction. NVIDIA says max settings with 3D-Guided Neural Rendering, 6X Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, Reflex and ray tracing reach up to 300 frames per second at 4K on a GeForce RTX 5090.

War Thunder will get DLSS 5 support in mid-November, with improved highlights and shadows and better lighting and atmosphere across its air, ground and naval environments. Where Winds Meet will get visual enhancements for its open world on November 23.

80 Level reports that DLSS 5 drew criticism after its first showcase for distorting the original artistic vision of games. It says NVIDIA's new trailer looks much more subtle than footage from a leaked DLSS 5 version that was modded into various games. Per 80 Level, many users say it is hard to tell whether DLSS 5 is on without a side-by-side comparison.
